months ago we came home tipsy from dinner and bought sale flights to new york. afterwards i had one of those "what the $%@# did i just do?" moments, but moved passed it. fast forward to october and here we are! our much anticipated trip started off with a day spent in brooklyn. having come off the red eye, we needed a day full of activities.

highlights include: bagels at russ and daughters, walking over the williamsburg bridge, aimlessly wandering brooklyn, lunch at five leaves, drinks at nights and weekends, and later the gutter {an amazing old school bowling alley/bar}, some down time at our home for the weekend, a ridiculous 12 person dinner at the smile, and finally some classic nyc bar hopping that ended at the back room.
