early saturday was spent in south austin enjoying coffee + all natural breakfast tacos with friends who recently bought a home in the area {so adult of them}. this spot is similar to one of our favorites {brew and brew} in that they serve awesome coffee, beer, delicious food {pizza + pastries available inside and the taco truck is parked out front}, they have live music, and also lots of beer garden–esque outdoor space. pop in if you're ever in the area!
Austin Coffee
sa-ten coffee & eats
Commentsa-ten, a coffee shop in the canopy studio on springdale rd. (super east austin), is a japanese influenced cafe serving espresso, coffee, and tea along with pastries like donuts from red rabbit bakery. from our neighborhood it's a bit of a trek just for a cup of joe. but would make a great place to come and get some work done, read a book, play cards (or one of the other games they have stacked on the shelves), or hang with friends. their espresso is rather delicious, too. we'll definitely be back!

the combination of brew and brew + torchy's is my favorite breakfast treat in austin (( must order the wrangler taco)). the weather was still gloom and doom on sunday, which inspired a cozy drive into the hill country for an afternoon at jester king brewery and stanleys pizza ((the willie is a must order)). while we're so sad to see our dear friends come and go, i am already looking forward to our next adventure together!
