when we lived in austin {on blanco street} an amazing little shop opened a stone's throw away; outdoor voices. we'd often pop in on our walk to clarks browsing all of their cooool gear. being active is truly so much more fun when you feel like you look good. i admittedly wore this softest outfit ever all-weekend-long. cannot take it off. crossing my fingers they'll expand to sf one day soon ...
i swear the weather is never like this except for when you have out of town-ers. it's always a bummer when it rains in austin because it rules out some of the awesome patios, but we made due by bundling up and hiding under umbrellas.
some rainy day suggestions: a long brunch at elizabeth street cafe, wandering south congress {shopping at stag and UAL), spending 3+ hours on the *covered* patio of hsj, finding a fireplace, and cozy indoor spots – like justines and mezcaleria tobala.
