Cafe du Monde A touristy must do…skip the line by just asking a waitress to bring you a to-go bag. Must have cash to quickly pay him/her on the go!
Cafe Amelie Brunch with a huge outdoor garden.
Port of Call burgers and booze in a laid back setting.
Hotel Monteleone Famous for their antique Carousel Bar inside and their sazeracs.
Napoleon House Bar & Cafe Cocktails and a muffaletta, world famous for their Pimm’s Cup.
Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Built between 1722 and 1732, on Bourbon St, past the main touristy area.
Cane & Table Emphasis on rum drinks from pre-tiki times, craft style cocktails.
R Bar Dive bar, not touristy with a big pool table and good jukebox.
Bike NOLA The best way to get around the city.
St Louis Cemetery Beautiful and worth exploring.

Cochon ButcherThe best sandwiches in town; from duck pastrami sliders to muffaletta, or try dinner/lunch at their upscale restaurant next door Cochon.
UPTOWN
Jacques-Imo’s: Cajun creole and great NOLA vibes | dinner only.
Creole Creamery Top ice cream shop in town.
Boucherie Contemporary southern cuisine, offers modern takes on down-home cooking
Coquette Local and seasonal creole type cuisine.
La Petite Grocery Upscale creole food in a 100 year old grocer building (dinner and brunch).
Cure Redefined craft cocktail bar.
The Columns Hotel Bar to grab a drink and check out the historic hotel, a must do.
RetroActive Vintage Cool vintage shop.
Maple Leaf Bar Best live music we saw, down the street from Jacques-Imo's.
Bike Audubon Blvd or Magazine St Head to Uptown and check out Tulane’s beautiful campus.
GARDEN DISTRICT
The Avenue Pub Beer bar with a wrap around style balcony.
Parkway Bakery & Tavern Best po’ boys in NOLA (great stop on the way to City Park)
Willie Mae’s Scotch House Fried chicken, often called the best in town.
Bike to City Park Pack a few beers to enjoy under the trees
Lafayette Cemetery 19th century cemetery with above ground tombs and statuary character of the area.
Gator Tour 1 hour outside of NOLA, but a bus will pick you up downtown. Perfect way to see the swamps and some gators...great for big groups!
