last thursday kp surprised me with a little trip to oakland for the evening {im such a lucky gal}.we started with beers {+ fries} in the sun at portal. next we enjoyed fresh greyhounds from a very unique little spot called cafe van kleef. the perfect pre-concert trifecta was finished with beers and sandys for dinner @ make westing. holy moly were they delicious. i highly recommend. the night ended with tallest man on earth at the fox theater. i have been wanting to go here forever -- and i can finally see where all the hype comes from. it was gorgeous and so peaceful/romantic. the perfect way to close out the week.
