wow. this trip has been on our radar for months now, however i truly had no idea what it would entail. thursday night we headed up to yosemite to stay the night @ hotel charlotte and enjoy karaoke at the iron door saloon. friday morning started early as we made way to the park. around 9am we abandoned the car and were on our journey to nelson lake.
the hike took almost the whole day, as we went off trail to get to this destination. what felt like a never ending up hill battle was definitely worth it when we arrived at our peaceful home for the next 2 days. pictures certainly do not do it much justice -- but i will definitely remember this trip forever! video to come soon...
