visitors!

on friday afternoon i de-boarded the sausalito ferry for what i thought would be a casual weekend up north with KP. little did i know my 3 favorite humans would be waiting for me on the other side of the bridge! i was s-h-o-c-k-e-d to say the least and over the moon with joy to have a long weekend with my angel god baby and her parents. i am so grateful for them <3

highlights from the weekend include:

long walks exploring SF and mill valley [equator, the lumber yard, cavallo point & mvbw], hanging and cooking at our cozy treehouse, dips in the hot tub [for g and e], watching g play the piano, hosting a baby dance party, cozying up to some rainy day football, beers and german bites at radhaus, and most importantly lots and lots of much needed catching up. the weekend went way too quick, as they always do, but i'm already looking forward to our next adventure together.

the reinhardts

they're married! after an extremely fun year celebrating the engagement of these two – finally they are officially the reinhardts. and they couldn't look happier. the wedding took place @ snake river ranch and was magical. everything about the evening – the gorgeous yet cozy decor, the mountain backdrop, the charming little details, the music, the food, the drinks. everyone was so relaxed and cheerful, and i really didn't want the night to end. stay tuned for a video that captures so much more of the wedding than photos will ever do ...

^^ i mean...

^^fried chicken biscuit in-hand!

the evening ended with treats from genevieve and persephone before we made way to the mangy moose for a few final drinks with the bride and groom. i'd really like to just re-live it all again.

pontoon party

saturday morning in michigan we woke up to the craziest sunrise – the picture below is what we saw from bed. i could really get used to that.

the rest of our day was dedicated to the lake {by way of pontoon boat} – we sipped rose, stopped for crab cakes at the knot, played hilarious games on the porch, did some girly bachelorette things, and ended the night with epic dinner and dancing. take me back now, please.

^^ the water .. was ... freezing

^^ CONGRATS to my dear sweet strum, and also a massive {huge, huge} thank you to molly for not only hosting us, but organizing / planning such a perfect weekend. love you both like cray.
