spring svs: scribe, fremont diner & molina

Kate ParrishComment

once a quarter scribe winery holds a "pick up party" for their SVS members. each party features bites from incredible restaurants or chefs from around the globe. this sunday, we pick up our wine and enjoyed roasted pork sandwiches from tosca cafe [a classic SF staple] while sipping on a bottle of rose. i love taking time to get out of the city and soak in the peacefulness of wine country.

other stops made were: fremont diner [will never ever get sick of going here], sonoma square [something we never do, but was such a cute place to wander and grab coffee after an afternoon in the sun] and dinner at a new-ish restaurant in mill valley – molina. i can't wait to get back to try even more of the menu @ this cute spot.

the ultimate sonoma duo: scribe & fremont diner

i love when parents come to town. it's always such a good excuse to get out and do something festive. we were heading up north to show them our wedding venue in real life (wedding photos coming soon!) and before heading to our airbnb in guerneville for the night, we made our obvious stop in sonoma: scribe + fremont diner. no matter how many times i go to these two favorites, they never get old and i leave feeling happy as a clam.

brunch & wine [nopa & scribe]

Kate ParrishComment

sunday started with brunch @ nopa – this place has the best atmosphere, amazing food, and is in one of my favorite neighborhoods in sf.

^^ pit stop at bi-rite market for cheese plate materials...

^^ another short pit stop to catch a portion of the 49ers game...

and finally after wandering and exploring we headed north to sonoma for an afternoon at scribe – a spot that never fails to provide the best day.

^^ scribe's garden never seizes to amaze me. typically filled with peppers and berries and green healthy looking things, this time it was filled with some of the most massive pumpkins i've ever seen in real life. hello, fall!

^^ hours flew by and it was somehow already time for dinner. fremont diner was obviously the only proper option.

^^ a perfect spot to end the weekend. thank you c + e for visiting, and we can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Scribe & sonoma

^^ apologizing to the chicken for eating a chicken sandwich for lunch :-/ ^^

so, it is starting to come off like we're creepily obsessed with the fremont diner scribe combo. but... i mean... maybe we are, what gives? to share the fun with some who'd never been before, we partnered up with eg and pete for a lovely saturday in sonoma. it was just as cozy as it always is...

after dinner at blue barn and a teeny tiny nap, we spent the rest of our night at bloodhound playing buck hunter. things get weird out there with a few greyhounds and a fake gun.
