Life on Pine

Sonoma

summer in sonoma

last weekend we were invited by two of our dear friends [who live in austin] to join them at their rental home for the weekend to celebrate erin's birthday and enjoy some much needed pool time [& baby time]. our weekend was spent enjoying the warm weather [sf has been 58 and windy], sipping wine on our favorite lawn, snacking at fremont diner, swimming at our awesome pad, grilling burgers [and veggie burgers], playing hilarious games and watching the boys leisure dive. thank you, ben and erin, for including us in such a fun weekend!

PS some of our other favorite sonoma spots include:  el molino, ernie's, the girl and the fig and ram's gate.

spring svs: scribe, fremont diner & molina

once a quarter scribe winery holds a "pick up party" for their SVS members. each party features bites from incredible restaurants or chefs from around the globe. this sunday, we pick up our wine and enjoyed roasted pork sandwiches from tosca cafe [a classic SF staple] while sipping on a bottle of rose. i love taking time to get out of the city and soak in the peacefulness of wine country.

other stops made were: fremont diner [will never ever get sick of going here], sonoma square [something we never do, but was such a cute place to wander and grab coffee after an afternoon in the sun] and dinner at a new-ish restaurant in mill valley – molina. i can't wait to get back to try even more of the menu @ this cute spot.
