friday evening we headed straight south to spend the night at pigeon point light house in pescadero. this spot is such a fun local getaway. it is a hostel, yes, however if you nail down a private room – you honestly feel like you have the place to yourself. we made classic crispy tacos, had endless s'mores by the made-with-tlc -fire, and enjoyed sleeping to the sounds of the water.
the following day was spent exploring the area and having the most amazing lunch at duartes in town. we always thought this place just looked cool, but we were wrong. the food is also amazing. i highly recommend if you're ever in the area. this short little 24 hour adventure honestly felt like a full weekend vacation. cheers!
