in the spirit of leveraging knowledge we learned @ workshop, we whipped up some pickles last saturday. jac was brave enough to head to the hellish farmers market for beets, jalepenos, cucumbers, carrots, and many more little goodies. {now don't get me wrong, it might be one of the prettiest and coolest farmers markets out there. but the amount of people make you want to curl up in a corner and get in the fetal position. just saying.}
^^ that night we grilled ribs and somehow spent hours at the kitchen table, forgetting about our grand plans to go outdancing. we'll just have to do that another time.
