we had only been in austin for about a week as we drove to the airport to fly back to sf for the db holiday party. it felt so good to be back. we spent our few days there – doing weird things with friends – like playing jenga and doing another bob's challenge {we have a problem and we know}, celebrating jac's birthday {aka picking up a foster pup!}, exploring new places {the battery}, and dancing the night away at the oh so classy palace hotel dressed as gatsby. (please note my camera was on the fritz this trip, so we're working with iphone here...) two traditions we were sad to miss this year – picking and cutting downour own christmas tree, and our little friendsmas in nob hill.
