what a treat it was to have the parrish fam in town this weekend {minus one. we missed you lorna p!} friday night started with drinks at home, and a delicious dinner at the new bbq spot in the mission hi-lo. it was fun to go somewhere none of us had been before, and we were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was. our night ended the kids having beers at southern pacific , and a little gathering at 1400 wash.
saturday's sunshine inspired us to be outside most of the day. we started with a light breakfast at fraiche, followed by our favorite fremont diner for lunch. next we headed to scribe for a peaceful afternoon. i don't think i'll ever get sick of this place. after our much needed naps we had dinner with the cable cars on the patio at za and a night cap at the hyde out.
